Please be advised that effective May 5, 2014, all applicants applying for U.S. citizenship must use the revised (9/13/13) Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. USCIS will no longer accept previous editions of the form. This new form is twenty-one (21) pages long and requires you to provide various pieces of information and answers numerous questions, all of which could have serious immigration consequences. Our immigration attorneys strongly recommend that anyone who is considering applying for U.S. citizenship schedule a consultation with an immigration lawyer prior to filing their application. Remember, it is cheaper to hire a lawyer before you apply for an immigration benefit than to hire a lawyer to represent you in removal or deportation proceedings.
